Rates and Charges are payable by instalments. The first instalment must be paid by the 30th September each year. Reminder notices will be issued for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th instalments.

Due Dates for Rates are as follows:
1st Instalment - 30 September
2nd Instalment - 30 November
3rd Instalment - 28 February
4th Instalment - 31 May

Penalty interest at the rate of 10% per annum applies to all rates and charges not paid by the due dates/s.

Make cheques payable to Hindmarsh Shire Council and crossed 'Not Negotiable.'

Remember to attach your rates assessment notice payment slip to the cheque.

Phone Hindmarsh Shire Council's automated service anytime on 13 18 16 to pay via credit card. Please quote your reference number from the POST billpay box on the front of the rate assessment notice.
