At the ordinary meeting on Wednesday 21 December 2011 the Hindmarsh Shire Council considered submissions and adopted the Revised Budget as presented to the meeting held on Wednesday 16 November 2011. The Revised Budget relates to the financial year commencing on 1 July 2011 and ending on 30 June 2012.

The Revised Budget proposes loan borrowings for the 2011/2012 financial year of $1,163,500. There is no change to rates and charges from that adopted in the original Budget.

The following rates and charges for 2011/2012 are declared:-

General Rate-General 0.502520 cents

General Rate-Rural 0.502520 cents

Recreational and Cultural Rate 0.251260 cents

Municipal Charge $176.00

Garbage Charge $230.00

Rates and charges are payable in four instalments due on or by September 30, November 30, February 28 and May 31.
