Hindmarsh community groups are encouraged to apply for funding for community events projects under Hindmarsh Shire Council’s Community Events Grants program. Grants of up to $500 are available to not-for-profit community organisations to promote social connectedness by running local events.

The Events Grants are an ongoing funding category to accommodate community projects, in particular projects arising from community planning workshops. This program does not support fundraising within organisations.

Applications must be received by the first Wednesday of each month to be considered at that month’s Council meeting.
