Hindmarsh Shire Council is proud to support Australian Year of the Farmer and encourages people to enter Nhill A&P Society competitions.
A modification and inventors competition is open to all farmers, handymen and women who have made modifications to machinery and / or equipment in order to make it work more efficiently, or just to make it work at all…
It may be small or BIG no matter; a tractor, field bin, fencing, shearing, machinery, tow hitches etc.
A total prize pool of $250.
Entry details to be submitted to Andrew Cook on 0458 923 298 by 5.00pm Friday 5 October 2012.
Blade and machinery shearing competitions will be held along with machinery shearing demonstrations and tuition. Entries for the shearing competitions are to be submitted to Robert Harding on 0417 565 805 by 5.00pm Friday 5 October 2012.
Entries are now open and judging will take place at the 2012 Nhill Show to be held Thursday 18 October.
