Hindmarsh Shire Council is undertaking a stormwater drainage study to investigate ways to minimise the impact caused by extreme rainfall. The study focuses on localised urban flooding problems, like those that have been experienced a number of times in recent years. This study does not encompass river flooding.
Four community sessions will be held to allow residents to drop in and discuss their experiences of stormwater drainage issues. Council’s engineers and consultants will be in attendance and will use the information gained to develop a stormwater management plan for the four towns
