Health & Beauty Premises

Health and Beauty Premises must be register with their local Council under Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic).

Health and Beauty premises that require registration includes the following:

  • Business of beauty therapy;
  • Business involving colonic irrigation;
  • Business involving permanent cosmetic make-up tattooing
  • Business involving skin penetration; and
  • Business involving tattooing.

Please note: Businesses solely providing hairdressing are classified as low risk beauty premises are eligible for applying for a one-off or ongoing registration.
