Draft Financial Hardship Policy

At the Council Meeting held on Wednesday 23 November 2022, Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of its draft Financial Hardship Policy and invite written submissions from the public in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020.

Council will consider submissions and adoption of the Financial Hardship Policy at the Council Meeting at 3:00pm on Wednesday 1 February 2023 at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre.

Any person may make a written submission on the draft Financial Hardship Policy. Such submissions must be received before 5pm on Thursday 15 December 2022. Written submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and posted to Hindmarsh Shire Council PO Box 250, Nhill VIC 3418, or emailed to info@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.
