At the Council Meeting held on Wednesday 27 July 2022, Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of its draft Governance Rules and Election Period Policy and invite written submissions from the public in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020.

Council will consider submissions and adoption of the Governance Rules and Election Period Policy at the Council Meeting at 3:00pm on Wednesday 31 August 2022 at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre.
Any person may make a written submission on the draft Governance Rules and Election Period Policy. Such submissions must be received before 5pm on Thursday 18 August 2022. Written submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and posted to Hindmarsh Shire Council PO Box 250, Nhill VIC 3418, or emailed to email@example.com.
