Hindmarsh Shire Youth Formal

Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council is excited to invite everyone between the ages of 12 and 25 to their final event for 2022 - the Youth Formal.  This event will be held on Friday 16 December from 7pm to 10pm at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre.  The event is entirely free - we just want you to have a great time!

The theme for the Youth Formal was voted by our Youth Councillors who chose “Under the Sea”.  This theme will showcase an array of extravagant decorations of blue, green and coral that will compliment the large ceiling and wooden floors in the Nhill Memorial Community Centre allowing for unique and wonderful photo opportunities.  This theme in particular allows for you to get creative in what you wear too if you wish!

We will have a photographer on the night who will snapshot some entrance and candid photos throughout the evening.  The photos will be posted on Facebook for you to be able to tag yourself and friends and download for you to share. 

There will be three food tables; hot food which will include pizza, party pies, party sausage rolls, and more delicious finger food; cold food which will include a cheese platter, fresh sandwiches, and more; and a drinks table which will include water and soft drink.  Any dietary requirements can also be catered for if noted in your registration.

Free transport will be available from Rainbow, Jeparit and Dimboola.  If you require transport, please note this in your registration so you can be accounted for.  Bus departure and arrival times will be confirmed as soon as possible – please keep an eye on our website and social media for these updates.

Online registration links are available on our website, Facebook and Instagram.  Registration forms can also be found on the Hindmarsh Shire website where you can download and/or print – from there you may either forward your form to youth@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au or hand it in to one of our friendly customer service staff at any Hindmarsh Shire Customer Service Centres.

Please note that this event is a smoke, alcohol, drug and vape free event with strictly no pass-outs.
