Hindmarsh Shire is back again with an exciting two weeks of fun and FREE activities across the Shire for the upcoming June/July school holidays. We’re bringing back some popular events from last school holidays but also have some Youth Council run activities to keep everyone excited! Our talented library staff have been planning lots of activities so there is sure to be something for everyone. This school holiday theme is Dinosaurs! So get your dinosaur stomping feet ready for some pre-historic action.

We are also celebrating NAIDOC Week in the second week of school holidays so join us for some special story telling sessions at all libraries celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Melanie Albrecht said “Council is proud to offer another jam-packed school holiday program across our four towns. The school holiday program provides some great options for all ages to catch up with friends and have a fantastic time at these events.”

Activities and events will be held over both weeks of the school holidays:

A fun interactive cooking session in the library! Bake something to eat, learn something to cook at home and enjoy your take home baking pack. Bookings appreciated.
