2026 Seniors Concert Featuring Frankly Sinatra

Hindmarsh Shire Council is delighted to announce the return of the highly anticipated Seniors Concert as part of the 2026 Victorian Seniors Festival.
The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major statewide celebration led by the Victorian Government and supported by local councils, community groups, clubs and organisations, including COTA Victoria and Seniors Rights Victoria. Created for and with older Victorians, the festival encourages people to come together, explore new interests, make connections and enjoy a wide range of fun and engaging activities.
This year’s Seniors Concert will feature ‘Frankly Sinatra - A tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes’ which is a new show led by music theatre star Ian Stenlake, presented by Promac Productions Australia and directed by Musical Director Kym Dillon.
This wonderful toe-tapping production celebrates the life and songs of Frank Sinatra and features a cavalcade of tunes he made famous, including ‘Fly Me to the Moon’, ‘My Way’, ‘Mack the Knife’, ‘Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered’, and everyone’s favourite, ‘New York, New York’.
Michelle Fitzmaurice shares the stage as long-time friend and colleague, Liza Minelli, and delivers a stirring performance of ‘Maybe This Time’.
Join Council for this not-to-be-missed Seniors Concert on Thursday 8 October 2026 from 11:00am at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre, 77-79 Nelson Street, Nhill. Doors will open from 10:30am. Tickets are FREE, but reserving your place is essential.

Free transport will be available from Rainbow, Jeparit, and Dimboola – please let Council know when you book a ticket if you will require a seat on the bus.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said, “The Seniors Concert is always a highlight of the annual calendar of events and a great opportunity for the seniors across our towns to come together for a fun, social event. I strongly encourage those interested to reserve their ticket early to avoid missing out. Frank Sinartra was such a great icon in his day, dominating Las Vegas and TV shows across America and the early days of TV in Australia, I am sure this tribute will be well worth your effort to go to.”
The Seniors Concert is being held as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival 2026, under the theme “Connect, Create, Celebrate”, and has been made possible with support from the Victorian Government.
