Hindmarsh Shire is home to 20 cemeteries, ranging from large cemeteries in major towns to lonely pioneer graves.

Hindmarsh Shire Council manages two of these cemeteries - Bleak House Cemetery and Upper Regions Cemetery. For more information about Bleak House Cemetery, please contact Council. For more information about Upper Regions Cemetery, please contact the Nhill and District Historical Society.

Other cemeteries located in Hindmarsh Shire are privately owned or in a Trust, and Council holds no records for them.
