Where can I use my library card?

You can use your Hindmarsh Shire Libraries membership card to borrow from any Libraries Victoria library service.

I don't have a Hindmarsh Shire Libraries card, can I still borrow from these branches?

If you have a library membership with any Libraries Victoria associated library service, you can use that membership card to borrow items from any of the Hindmarsh Shire Libraries branches.

Where can I return my library books?

Any library service associated with Libraries Victoria can receive returned items. If you're on holiday or out of town, you can find your closest branch here

I put a book on hold, when will it arrive?

Our state-wide library sharing service has a courier delivery and pick up service once a week. This may mean that items put on hold or reserved could take up to 2 weeks to arrive in your local branch. We'll get in touch with you when it arrives. 

How do I access online resources with my library account?

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries members can use their membership details to access BorrowBox, Mango, Kanopy, Story Box Library, Comics Plus, Busythings and Libby. To log in to these services, you may need to create a user account (for some platforms) but for most, you just need your library membership card number and your password/PIN!
These services also have apps you can download onto your digital device, and this will enable you can stay logged in.
