Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council 2024 Update Published on 23 July 2024 The 2024 Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council has been very productive and continues to busily plan upcoming projects for the remainder of the year. The Youth Council meets monthly at the Jeparit Hall with a different Youth Councillor taking on the role as the Chairperson each meeting. Libraries Grant for Regional, Rural and Remote Libraries Published on 19 July 2024 The LBW Trust in collaboration with Friends of Libraries Australia (FOLA), has announced that 79 country libraries throughout regional, rural and remote Australia are the recipients of much needed funding through the Trust’s Australian Country Libraries 2024 Program. Nhill Awarded Tiny Towns Funding for new Off Leash Dog Park Published on 08 July 2024 Development of a new Off Leash Dog Park in Nhill will commence soon, with Hindmarsh Shire Council successfully receiving funding for the project through the Victorian Government’s first round of Tiny Towns funding.The new park, estimated to be approximately 1000m², will be located in the Nhill Lawn Tennis Club precinct in Whitehead Avenue, Nhill.
