Hindmarsh Shire Council owns a community bus that is available to the community for hire. All community groups and individuals that hire the Hindmarsh Shire Community Bus have a shared responsibility to ensure the safe operation of the bus.
Who can hire the bus? Both community groups & private individuals can book the bus.
How many people fit on the bus? The community bus seats 12, including the driver. (Please note: capacity limits may reduce depending on COVID-19 restrictions)
What are the costs? • Non for Profit Community Groups: $0.40/km plus fuel
• Private Hire: $1.00/km plus fuel
