International Day of People with a Disability Event – New Date

Hindmarsh Shire Council has rescheduled its International Day of People with Disability event and will be hosting a celebration at the Dimboola Bowling Club on Wednesday 11 February 2026 from 10:00am until 2:00pm.

International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations (UN) observed day, that aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.

The celebration at Dimboola Bowling Club will include a BBQ lunch, music, activities including Lawn Bowls and giant games.

Everyone is welcome to attend, but bookings are required.
