Hindmarsh Shire Council is pleased to offer free green waste disposal to residents of Hindmarsh Shire, and Hindmarsh based businesses providing services to residents of Hindmarsh, throughout the month of October 2026. Available at all Council Transfer Stations, this will run from Thursday 1 October to Saturday 31 October 2026.
With the upcoming fire season approaching, this program provides an ideal opportunity for residents to clean up their properties and reduce potential fire hazards. Community members are encouraged to clear excess garden organic materials including tree branches, leaves, and lawn clippings.
Regular property maintenance plays a vital role in both bushfire preparedness and keeping our townships tidy.
