Hindmarsh Shire Council will be accepting green waste disposal at Transfer Stations free of charge throughout October 2026. This is an opportunity to tidy up your properties in the lead up to summer.

The 2026 Annual Statutory Meeting of Hindmarsh Shire Council will be held at 6:00pm on Wednesday 18 November 2026 at the Nhill Council Chambers, 92 Nelson Street, Nhill. The purpose of the meeting is to elect a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and appoint delegates to committees for the following 12 months.
This meeting will be open to members of the public, who are encouraged to attend, and will also be livestreamed on Council’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@hindmarshshirecouncil.
Light refreshments will follow the meeting with an opportunity to talk to Councillors and Executive staff.
