At the Council Meeting held on Wednesday 27 July 2022, Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of its draft Governance Rules and Election Period Policy and invite written submissions from the public in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020.

If you are leaving or selling a food business, you will need to complete an Application to Cancel Food Business Registration. If you are purchasing an existing food business, you will need to compelte a new application form.
For both Health and Beauty and Prescribed Accommodation Premises, an application must be made to Council to transfer the registration to the owner of the business.
You can get information on the current condition of the business and any issues that have been identified through inspections by an Environmental Health Officer. Consent from the existing owner must be obtained before Council can release information.
When settlement of a business purchase is complete, the completed transfer of registration form and relevant fee must be submitted to Council. Failure to do so can result in penalties.
