Hindmarsh Shire Libraries EGGciting School Holiday Activities

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries will run a range of EGGciting school holiday activities in the upcoming April school holidays.

From wild animals to take home art, Hindmarsh Shire Libraries has something on offer for everyone this April. Activities will include STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programs at Jeparit Hall, Rainbow MECCA, and Dimboola Library with our resident scientist Cam.

With new extended opening hours at Nhill and Dimboola, special Pyjama sessions for Story Time will be held. Attendees are encouraged to bring their favourite cuddly friend and join us for a special, night time story time session.

WILD Action Zoo will also be making an appearance as the zoo that comes to you, featuring animals found in the Wimmera. A Superhero Show for all ages will also feature including comedy tricks and flips. Watch in awe as Superhero’s demonstrate their incredible acrobatic skills while also teaching tricks with a workshop prior to the show!

For those who do not enjoy acrobatics then there is a fabulous botanical screen printing workshop at the Nhill Library.

Hindmarsh Shire Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said “Hindmarsh Shire Libraries have a full program of events and activities to keep you occupied during the upcoming school holidays. Activities are free and open to all ages.” He continued “it is important that people book their place to attend and avoid disappointment.”

Learn the skills that every little superhero needs – to climb and jump over obstacles, land like a superhero, roll like a ninja and work in a superhero team! (Suited for ages 5 and up)
