Round One Community Action Grants Program now open

Round one of the Hindmarsh Shire Council Community Action Grants Program is now open. Since its inception in 2013 the Community Action Grants Program has assisted community groups and non-profit organisations in hosting community events, purchasing necessary equipment, and upgrading facilities.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said “Council recognises the valuable role our volunteers and non-profit community groups play in making our communities vibrant, enjoyable, and socially connected. Their contribution is particularly important in the present times.”

Cr Ismay added “If representatives’ of community organisations require any assistance Council staff will be happy to assist with any queries they may have prior to submitting an application.”

Applications are available on the Hindmarsh Shire Council website and they can either be downloaded or completed online.

Round One of the Community Action Grants Program will close at 5.00pm Wednesday 13 October 2021.
