Hindmarsh Shire Council’s 2026 Youth Councillors were appointed at the Council meeting held on Wednesday 17 December 2025. So far, the 2026 Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council is made up of five returning members and seven new members, with applications for the 2026 Youth Council remaining open until all positions are filled.

The Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council is an Advisory Committee whose role is to represent young people and provide a voice for young people aged 12-18 who live, work, study or socialise within the Shire of Hindmarsh.

The Hindmarsh Shire Youth Councillors for 2026 are: Anora Corbett, Eh Chrit Htoo Shwe, Elora Williams, Grace Wundersitz, Katie Muller, Lawson Lynch, Lisa Klee, Matilda McKinnon, Georgie McKinnon, Rebecca-May Williams, Ryan Wallace and Trinity Rethus.

Hindmarsh Shire Council looks forward to officially welcoming the Youth Councillors at a ceremony in early 2026.

Youth Council gives young people in Hindmarsh a shared voice to raise issues that matter to them and help make Hindmarsh Shire a better place to live.
