Community Feedback Wanted for Tiny Towns Grant Applications
Published on 04 December 2025
Hindmarsh Shire Council is proposing to submit two applications through Round 3 of the Tiny Town Fund for the two following projects:
Goldsworthy Park Amenities and Nhill Visitor Information Centre Upgrades
Together with the Nhill Town Committee, Council is proposing to apply for funding to deliver upgrades to the amenities and Visitor Information Centre in Goldsworthy Park.
These upgrades would include making improvements to the all-abilities bathroom to improve accessibility and useability, as well as a facelift to the Nhill Visitor Information Centre.
Dimboola Dog Park at Old Tennis Courts
The Dimboola Community has raised the need for a Dog Park in Dimboola at various community consultation sessions.
Council is seeking community feedback on a proposal to transform the Old Tennis Courts in Dimboola into a dedicated Dog Park. This initiative aims to provide a safe, fenced area where dogs can exercise and socialise, while promoting responsible pet ownership and enhancing community recreation spaces.
We want to ensure both of these projects meet the needs of our community. Before proceeding, we are asking for your input. Councils grant applications will be strengthened through demonstrated community support for these projects.
For more information about the proposed projects, to provide your input and/or to show your support, please complete the survey response forms for each of these projects on our Have Your Say Hindmarsh website linked below:
Submissions for these surveys close 11:59pm on Friday 9 January 2026.
