Community Meeting for Dimboola Swimming Pool Update

Hindmarsh Shire Council invites all community members to attend an information session to receive an update on the Dimboola Swimming Pool Upgrade Project.

What is the Dimboola Swimming Pool Upgrade Project?

In July 2025, Council announced that it had been successful in securing $1 million dollars for the upgrade of Dimboola Swimming Pool through the State Governments Round 2 of the Regional Community Sports Infrastructure Fund.

The proposed upgrades were to include a variety of improvements to the Dimboola Swimming Pool, including the following works:

  • Wet deck conversion to the pool;
  • Installation of a balance tank and pool hydraulics;
  • Crack and expansion joint repair;
  • Construction of all abilities access ramp to improve access to the pool;
  • Construction of disabled carpark;
  • Updated landscaping; and
  • Upgrade of the paved area within the swimming pool.

This important project aims to improve the condition, accessibility, and long-term sustainability of the Dimboola Swimming Pool for the benefit of the whole community.
