Hindmarsh July 2025 School Holiday Program
Published on 19 June 2025
Hindmarsh Shire Council is thrilled to announce a fun-filled and diverse program for the July 2025 School Holidays!
Young people across the Shire can look forward to hands-on science sessions with Jess and Ellen in our libraries and unleash their inner artist with painting workshops led by talented Youth Councillor, Matilda. Janelle will get you relaxed and centred with yoga sessions, while badminton sessions will keep everyone active and energised. Budding artists can also get creative with clay at Dimboola Pottery.
The program includes two family-friendly movie screenings: How to Train Your Dragon and Elio. Animal lovers won’t want to miss a visit to Tiny Goats & Co, where you can meet the adorable new baby goats, make sure you register early to secure your spot!
Gamers can enjoy a variety of interactive experiences at Level-Up! Gaming in Jeparit, and for those with a green thumb, there’s a unique opportunity to create your own Kokedama - a traditional Japanese art form where plants are grown in moss-covered soil balls - at workshops in Nhill and Rainbow.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic school holiday experience for kids and families across Hindmarsh!
Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said, “We’re proud to offer such a fun, creative, and inclusive program for young people across Hindmarsh. We encourage families to get involved, try something new, and make the most of these fantastic local opportunities.”
Activities and events will be held over both weeks of the school holidays, and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment as some activities may have a limited number of spots available.
