Hindmarsh Shire Cat Desexing Clinic Next Location

Hindmarsh Shire Council has partnered with The Vet Project to hold affordable cat desexing clinics in Hindmarsh Shire.

The Vet Project is a mobile, low-cost veterinary service supporting regional Victoria by providing affordable desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, and parasite treatments to communities with limited access to traditional vet clinics.

In early 2026, Council held cat desexing clinics in Rainbow and Nhill.

Council are now looking at holding a clinic in Dimboola and/or Jeparit and want to know from the community if they have a preferred location. The Vet Project will be back in Hindmarsh Shire in September 2026.

There was minimal interest at the Rainbow Clinic held earlier this year, so Council is wanting to make sure it is offering these clinics at locations most suited to the community.
