Hindmarsh Shire Libraries Migrate eResources fully to ‘BorrowBox’

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries is committed to building full, comprehensive, and exciting collections and curations in both our physical and digital resources.

As such, we have made the decision to move our e-Book and e-Audiobook titles to a single platform. From Tuesday 1 July 2025, we will discontinue our affiliation with e-Resource provider ‘Libby’ and move solely to the use of ‘BorrowBox’.

This change will allow us to focus on building a larger collection in one space and growing our digital catalogue.

Any current users of ‘Libby’ will no longer be able to access this platform using their Hindmarsh Shire Libraries membership. Many titles that exist in our Libby collection currently will become available on the BorrowBox platform. You can download this app to your phone or digital device and continue accessing e-Books and e-Audiobooks for FREE with your Hindmarsh Shire Libraries membership.

Current library members will receive notifications and reminder updates about this change in the lead up to the migration date - please keep an eye out for text messages or emails for further information.
