Hindmarsh’s September/October 2025 School Holiday Program

Hindmarsh Shire Council is excited to announce a fun-filled and diverse program for the upcoming September/October 2025 school holidays, offering a wide range of engaging activities for young people and families across the Shire.

Young people can enjoy hands-on creative workshops with Jess and Ellen, where they’ll have the chance to craft their own take-home masterpiece. Budding artists are also invited to get creative with clay at Dimboola Pottery - early registration is recommended to secure a spot. For those who love to cook, join Sharon in the kitchen for a fun and delicious cooking session. If you're feeling active and ready to groove, don't miss the Roller Disco event in Dimboola.

The holiday program also features a special movie screening of The Bad Guys 2, complete with free popcorn and water. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a day at the fishing workshop, capped off with a BBQ lunch to celebrate their catch of the day.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay, said “We are pleased to provide young people in Hindmarsh with this enjoyable, imaginative, and inclusive program.  Families are encouraged to participate, try something new, and take advantage of these wonderful local activities”.

Events will take place throughout both weeks of the school holidays. Some activities, marked with a ‘*’, have limited capacity, so early bookings are encouraged to avoid disappointment.
