HINDMARSH SHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD DISCONTINUANCE
At the Hindmarsh Shire Council meeting held on 13 December 2023, Council endorsed the discontinuation of the section of road (part of George Street) shown on the plan below, pursuant to section 206, including Clause 3 of Schedule 10, of the Local Government Act 1989.
This section of the road was previously used to access the Jeparit Tennis Courts, which also has alternative access via Peterson Avenue. The land comprising of the road discontinuance is to be used as part of a new Council tourism project forming part of the Jeparit Riverbank Precinct.
