Rubbish Collection
Council provides a weekly general waste collection of household waste, fortnightly collection of mixed recyclable materials and a glass collection service every eight weeks in various areas across our Shire.

If you experience any issues with your bin not being collected, or not being emptied completely, please report it to us. To help us resolve the problem efficiently, please include a photo with your complaint.

Public Holiday Collections:
There will be no collection of waste or recycling on Good Friday or Christmas Day. Please check back for more details closer to the date or your local paper or you can contact Council on 03 5391 4444 or Wimmera Mallee Waste on 03 9021 4498 for advice on when your collection will occur.
All collections remain the same on all other Public Holidays.

RURAL COLLECTION DAYS & LOCATIONS:

Antwerp
Day of Collection: Monday
Drop Off Location: Antwerp-Warracknabeal Road, across the road from the CFA shed.
Note: Glass can be dropped off here.
Kiata
Day of Collection: Monday
Drop Off Location: Off Reserve Road, Kiata (Bush Track)
Note: Glass and mixed recycling can be dropped off here.
Netherby
Day of Collection: Tuesday
Drop Off Location: Glass and mixed recycling bins are collected on the corner of School Street and Netherby-Baker Road. The general waste collection loop is School Street to Church Street then the truck turns right into Memorial Park Drive and left into Warraquil Road.
Tarranyurk
Day of Collection: Monday
Drop Off Location: Dimboola Rainbow Road, Tarranyurk
Yanac
Day of Collection: Tuesday
Drop Off Location: Glass and mixed recycling bins are collected in Maude Street, Yanac. General waste bins are collected from the Nhill Yanac Road in Yanac.
Gerang Gerung
Day of Collection: Tuesday
Drop Off Location: General waste collection only, outside the Gerang Hall on the Gerang-Glenlee Road.

Monday Morning - put your bins out on Sunday night before
Location: From Pipkorn’s corner to the Woorak Road

Location: Only as far as Glenlee
