Hindmarsh Shire Council provides community groups, event organisers and small businesses the opportunity to work collaboratively with Council through our grant programs to make our shire a better place to live and work.

Hindmarsh Shire Council runs three grant programs:

Business Boots Grants (previously known as Business Assistance Grants)
Connected Communities Grants (previously known as Community Action Grants)
Regional Events Sponsorship (previously known as Regional Community Events Grants)

Business Boost Grants Program

The Business Boost Grants Program provides financial assistance to support local businesses to establish, grow and improve their contribution to Hindmarsh Shire’s town centres and local economy.

Connected Communities Grants Program

The Connected Communities Grants Program aims to strengthen community wellbeing, inclusion and participation by supporting local groups to deliver activities, programs and events that bring people together.

Regional Events Sponsorship Framework

The Regional Events Sponsorship Program supports high‑quality events that attract visitors, stimulate local economic activity and showcase the unique character of Hindmarsh Shire.
