Would you like to advertise your event on Council's website under the Upcoming Events page? You can do this through Council's MyCity Portal.
What is MyCity?MyCity is a community directory platform designed to connect residents with local groups, clubs, businesses and community services. Offered by Hindmarsh Shire Council, this service includes a free directory listing for businesses, community groups and local organisations and the opportunity to promote events.
To advertise your event, access the MyCity portal below, create an account and submit an 'event listing'.

All event listing requests are subject to final approval by Council staff. Read the MyCity Terms and Conditions here.
Council may, at its discretion, choose to not publish or advertise events that relate to political advocacy or publicly contentious issues, or that may be considered to contain explicit, inappropriate or contentious content. Whilst we understand the importance of robust social and political debate, we must also consider and/or take action to prevent harassment, vilification of any person/people and to not permit content that may cause distress, on our platforms.

Temporary Event Signs have been installed on the Western Highway entrances into Nhill. These signs enable temporary event signs to be mounted on them leading up to events. For more information, guidelines and application form please click on the link below:

The ATDW is an on-line tourism database that is used by websites to promote information about tourism attractions and events. It is a great way to promote events because you can put in your information, and update it, in one place and it automatically feeds out to other websites to have picked it up to promote. The websites and apps that draw data from the ATDW include: Tourism Australia, Visit Victoria, Visit Wimmera Mallee, the Grampians Wimmera Mallee (GWM) Visitor App.
