Hindmarsh Shire Council will be accepting green waste disposal at Transfer Stations free of charge throughout October 2025. This is an opportunity to tidy up your properties in the lead up to summer.
Wetland Revival Trust invite you to help join them for a weeding day in Kiata to help save the rare Eltham Copper Butterfly.
Kiata is one of the longest known Eltham Copper Butterfly populations, however weeds are a direct threat.
Hand weeding is critical to maintain this population as chemicals cannot be used as the butterfly larvae lives under ground.
Come for an hour or stay for the day!
Please register at https://www.trybooking.com/DCRUB or by emailing elaine@wetlandrevivaltrust.org.
