Farmer Consultation Session - Rainbow

Hindmarsh Shire Council invites local farmers and landholders to attend our upcoming Farmer Consultation Sessions in October 2026.

The sessions will provide an opportunity to discuss current programs, share local knowledge, and help shape future priorities across the municipality. Topics for discussion include:

• Weeds and Pest Management Program update and community feedback.
• Locust and mice activity monitoring, reporting, and response.
• Tree trimming program update, including review of past works through Council's Pozi mapping system.
• Progress update on the 2026/2027 Capital Works Program including scheduled works.
• Opportunities to partner with Council on upgrades to selected farm access roads.
