Statement from Hindmarsh Shire Council

Hindmarsh Shire Council is saddened to hear of the incident at the Rainbow Desert Enduro on Sunday 4 September 2022.

Hindmarsh Shire Mayor, Cr Melanie Albrecht provides the following statement "Hindmarsh Shire Council’s thoughts and prayers are with the Rainbow community and the family and loved ones of those that died in the tragic accident yesterday."

"The Rainbow Desert Enduro is made possible through hardworking volunteers from the Rainbow community. The community will be in significant grief after this tragic accident, and we will need to come together to support one another. "
