Book Week begins in Hindmarsh Shire!

This year’s Children’s Book Week celebration will run from Saturday 16 to Saturday 23 August with the theme ‘Book an Adventure!’

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries and Early Years teams are celebrating Book Week in our library spaces and with our playgroup families.
This year, join the fun with us - dress up, bring your favourite book to share with the group, and dive into some book week activities.
Our Librarians and Supported Playgroup Facilitators will be dressing as their favourite book characters!

Book an adventure to one of the Hindmarsh Shire playgroups or Storytime’s during the following session times:

Nhill Library Playgroup - Monday 18 August 2025, 10:00am-11:00am
Rainbow Library Playgroup - Monday 18 August 2025, 2:00pm-3:00pm
Dimboola Library Playgroup - Tuesday 19 August 2025, 10:00am-12:00pm
Jeparit Kindergarten Playgroup – Wednesday 20 August 2025, 10:00am- 12:00pm
Dimboola Library Storytime – Friday 22 August 2025, 10:00am-12:00pm
