Christmas Giving Tree Appeal 2025

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries are excited to once again be able to support a local Christmas Giving Tree Appeal in 2025.

Local Dimboola resident and Youth Councillor Chelsea – a member of the Dimboola Library – has again sought the support of our Library service for the Christmas Giving Tree Appeal, which is fast becoming an annual staple in the Libraries calendar.

Giving Trees will be set up in all four library branches located in Nhill, Dimboola, Jeparit and Rainbow, and donations can be made at any of these locations during their normal business hours from Monday 10 November 2025.

Chelsea would like to encourage all residents who are financially able to kindly donate. Any donations must be new gift items that are unwrapped. These can be placed under the Giving Trees at Hindmarsh Shire Libraries branches during the collection period. Gifts will then be collected and donated to the Salvation Army in Horsham, for distribution to those in need within the community. Gifts will need to be donated prior to Friday 12 December 2025.

Financial donations can also be made directly to the Salvation Army via www.salvationarmy.org.au.
