Hindmarsh Shire Council has awarded $10,144.88 in grant funding to 11 local community organisations through Round One of the 2025/2026 Community Action Grants Program.
The purpose of the Community Action Grants program is to support the operation of invaluable volunteer groups in the Shire and enable them to deliver projects that support the wider community.
Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay, said “It’s fantastic that Council can continue to support local community organisations and the incredible work that they do through our Community Action Grants Program. This year, we saw a range of applicants from community groups who have genuinely considered projects that will improve their services, protect their assets, and support their volunteers.”
Hindmarsh Shire Council congratulates the recipients listed below and wishes them well for their upcoming projects and events.
Cr Ismay said, “I encourage any organisations who are looking for assistance to consider submitting an application for Round Two of our Community Action Grants program in the new year.”
