Hindmarsh Shire Council is seeking community input into the development of strategic sport and recreation master plans for:

  • Davis Park, Nhill
  • Dimboola Recreation Reserve
  • Jeparit Tennis Courts, Caravan Park and Riverbank Precinct

These plans will establish a clear vision for the future development and activation of each site, supporting increased participation in physical activity and guiding long-term investment. Once adopted, they will serve as key documents to support ongoing development and attract external funding. The three master plans have been funded by the Victorian Government’s Regional Community Sports Infrastructure Fund and Hindmarsh Shire Council.

Simon Leisure Consulting is leading the development of the plans, and together with Council will meet with user groups of these reserves and precincts to seek their feedback on what they would like to see included in these master plans.

ONLINE SURVEY

Community members are invited to contribute to the planning for each master plan, providing information on how the sites are currently used and how they could be used or improved in the future.

Community members are encouraged to complete the online survey for the reserve(s) most relevant to them. The survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete and includes questions about your use of the reserve(s) and suggested improvements.

To provide your feedback, complete the online surveys on the Have Your Say Hindmarsh website here: www.haveyoursay.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/master-plans-davis-park-dimboola-recreation-reserve-and-jeparit-tennis-court-caravan-park-and-riverbank-precinct

Hardcopies of the surveys can be found on the Have Your Say Hindmarsh website or can be collected from any Hindmarsh Shire Customer service centre.

Submissions close 5pm on Friday 22 May 2026.
