Hindmarsh Shire Council staff have been busy recruiting lifeguards, refreshing facilities, filling the pools and getting everything in order for the start of the pool season. With the cooler weather in early November and low temperatures forecast for the coming week, the opening date for all pools has been moved to Saturday 22 November 2025 (weather dependent). This will ensure that the pools have time to warm up and that the weather encourages people to get out and go for a swim.
Council will assess the weather at the end of the season and consider extending the season for an additional week.
