Hindmarsh Shire Council hereby gives formal notice that the Four Mile Beach Camping Reserve will be closed to the public from 1 May 2026 to enable Council to undertake routine maintenance and repairs, including electrical and plumbing works.
The campground will remain closed for a period of four (4) weeks, or until works are completed and the site has been assessed as safe for public use.
Council will issue a further notice advising the community when the campground is reopened.
During the closure period:
- Public access to the camping reserve is strictly prohibited;
- Camping, vehicle entry and recreational use are not permitted;
- Safety signage and barriers will be installed at all entry points; and
- Unauthorised access may be subject to enforcement under Council’s Local Laws.
