CRITICAL RAIL WORKS ALBACUTYA ROAD LX RAINBOW LEVEL CROSSING
Council advises that on Tuesday 23 September 2025 from 7:00am to 7:00pm there will be a road closure on the Albacutya Road at the Rainbow Level Crossing due to critical rail maintenance works and associated traffic management measures being undertaken by Roar, Road and Rail Pty Ltd. The stretch of road connecting Albacutya Road to the Hopetoun Rainbow Road will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the works. Detour routes will be in place via Jacks Track, Bullock Bottom Road, Rosebery-Rainbow Road and Tregenza Road. Please allow extra travel time and plan your journey accordingly.
