Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with the picturesque Hindmarsh Shire, have two opportunities available to join the team as a Civil Construction Trainee completing Certificate III in Civil Construction at South West Tafe.
Positions on offer:
- 1 x traineeship based in Nhill
- 1 x traineeship based in Jeparit
Hindmarsh Shire, located in the Wimmera, offers a unique blend of striking natural scenery and rich cultural heritage.
General Tasks Include:
- General Road Repair
- Traffic Management
- Upkeep of Common Areas within the Shire
The successful applicant will:
- Demonstrate a keen interest in the industry
- Have attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Possess a knowledge of the area
- Be motivated to learn on the job
- Have the ability to work in all types of weather
- Be a problem solver and work well with a team
- Have Green P Plates (applicants with Red P Plates may be considered depending on how long until progression to Green P Plates)
