Hindmarsh Shire Libraries are excited to once again participate in The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) Kids on Tour in 2026!

This summer, Hindmarsh Shire Libraries will be hosting dedicated sessions celebrating the NGV exhibition “Let’s Party! Fashion for Kids”, designed by Danielle Brustman.

At parties, some people wear special hats called party hats to celebrate and show their party spirit.
In these sessions, you get to decorate and then wear your own party hat!

Other NGV creative activities will be available in each of our library branches as ‘drop-in activities’ for families looking to fill in their summer holidays with creativity and fun. These activities include ‘Take the Cake’, ‘What’s New’ and ‘Perfume in the 1700s’ (all of which are creative drawing activities).
