Business Assistance Grants Program Round Two

Round Two of the Hindmarsh Shire Business Assistance Grants Program for 2022/2023 will open for applications from eligible businesses on Monday 19 December 2022 and close 5:00pm Friday 10 February 2023. Applications will be presented at the March 2023 Council meeting.

Since the establishment of the program in 2016, Business Assistance Grants have supported businesses in generating new employment opportunities, supporting existing businesses to grow and to attract new business to the shire.

The 2022/2023 Business Assistance Grants program offers support and assistance across two funding categories.

“Business Development” category will assist existing businesses to undertake small projects or initiatives to a value of up to $2,000. This category requires a contribution from the business of $1 to $2 from the Council funded grant.  Initiatives could include staff recruitment, business planning, or the obtaining of building, planning and health permits.

The second category “Streetscapes”, aims to assist existing businesses undertake streetscape improvements to a value of up to $3,000.  Business must contribute $1 to every $2 of Council funded grant. 

Applications are available on the Hindmarsh Shire Council website and can either be downloaded or completed online.

Round Two of the Business Assistance Grants Program will close at 5.00pm Friday 10 February 2023.
