Community Action Grants Program Round Two

Round Two of the Hindmarsh Shire Council Community Action Grants Program will be opening Monday 19 December 2022 and closing 5:00pm Friday 10 February 2023. Applications will be presented at the March 2023 Council meeting.

Since its establishment in 2013 the Community Action Grants Program has assisted community groups and non-profit organisations in hosting community events, purchasing necessary equipment, and upgrading facilities.

The Community Action Grant Program features three different application categories.  The community group must pick the one that best suits their project:

  • Community Assistance (up to $1,000)
  • Event Sponsorship (up to $500)
  • Small Equipment (up to $1,000)

The application process has been re-assessed and modified to be more accessible for all applicants. It is recommended that applicants review the updated Guidelines to familiarise themselves with the changes that have been made to the funding program. 

Application documents, guidelines, and all other necessary information is available on the Hindmarsh Shire Council website and can either be downloaded or completed online.
