The annual Community Satisfaction Survey results for Hindmarsh Shire Council have been released. 2021/2022 was the first time the survey was completed on a quarterly basis, previous surveys have been conducted annually during March and April.

Results from the survey showed Council’s three areas where performance is significantly higher than other small Victoria rural councils are Waste Management, Appearance of public areas and Local streets and footpaths.

Hindmarsh Shire scored equal or higher than the average of all small Victorian rural councils in 14 areas being overall performance, value for money, customer service, appearance of public areas, waste management, elderly support services, recreational facilities, enforcement of local laws, local streets and footpaths, community decisions, sealed local roads, lobbying, slashing and weed control, and unsealed roads.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Melanie Albrecht said “Thank you to all those community members that took the time to participate in the satisfaction survey results.
