Hindmarsh Shire Council Deputy Mayor, Cr Rosie Barker, who spoke at the event said, “The recent Youth Council celebration and Retreat Weekend activity brought together young people from across our community, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, collaboration, and growth. The energy and commitment shown by the youth was truly inspiring, as they not only had fun together but also demonstrated a genuine focus on achieving positive outcomes for themselves and their peers. I am sure the 2026 Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council will enjoy their term, and I look forward to seeing all their accomplishments.”
