Digital Literacy Program

On display until 16 May 2024, 02:00 PM

Do you have a LAPTOP, TABLET or MOBILE PHONE but don’t know how to utilise it to stay in touch? Are there services that you struggle to access because you need to use online forms to access them?

Our Digital Literacy Program is designed to provide you with the skills and confidence needed to navigate the digital world, stay connected with loved ones, and access valuable online resources. As technology continues to reshape the way we live, it’s essential that everyone, regardless of age, has the opportunity to experience its benefits.

Bring your device and attend a Digital Literacy Program session at a Hindmarsh Shire Library near you and learn how to:

  • FaceTime (video call) to stay connected with family and friends;
  • Open and respond to your personal emails;
  • Use Telehealth for medical appointments;
  • Google and use websites;

We will also be showing you how to navigate the Hindmarsh Shire website to view Council Services; and will also discuss phishing and scams.

These sessions are hosted by the Nhill Learning Centre and will be held in Hindmarsh Shire Libraries on the following dates:
