At the Council Meeting held on Wednesday 7 May 2025, Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of the intended 2025/2026 Budget (incorporating Revenue and Rating Plan and Long-Term Financial Plan). Drop-in sessions will be held as follows for community members to speak with Council staff and Councillors about the draft Budget.

The Draft Budget is also available for inspection at the Customer Service Centres in Nhill, Dimboola, Rainbow and Jeparit, as well as on Council’s Have Your Say Hindmarsh website. Any person may make a written submission by visiting Council’s website at www.haveyoursay.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.
Alternatively, hard copies of submissions can be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and posted or delivered to Hindmarsh Shire Council, PO Box 250, Nhill VIC 3418.
Council will consider submissions and adoption of the budget at the Council Meeting at 3:00pm on Wednesday 18 June 2025.
Submissions close at 11:59pm on Wednesday 4 June 2025.
